About Cultivate

R.J. Townsend started Cultivate Marketing Technologies LLC (CMT) in 2007 providing small businesses with customized web applications and content management systems. He quickly discovered one thing: programmers don't like to design, and designers don't like to code. CodeMyDesigns.com was born from this discovery.

CodeMyDesigns.com is a team of experienced professionals committed to excellence, success and client satisfaction. Most of us have our roots in graphic and web design and we all share a passion for technology and the internet. 

People

R.J. Townsend is the owner and senior developer of CodeMyDesigns.com. He's an entrepreneur with seven years experience using web-based technologies to automate research programs and work processes. He earned his master's degree in quantitative psychology from California State University, Fullerton and worked towards a Ph.D. at the University of Delaware studying customer satisfaction and loyalty. He has published several articles on integrating research and technology and won an award for his research in 2004. R.J. is currently working on his MBA at the University of Delaware and writing a book for Apress called "Foundation Drupal 7: Learn how to use the Drupal framework to quickly build feature-rich web sites". On his off-time, R.J. loves to spend time with his family and newborn son, explore local mountain biking trails, or visit new Mexican food restaurants. Gabrielle Townsend is an accomplished project leader with over ten years experience delivering high quality strategic plans, optimized processes, and dynamic systems. With a Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University, Gabrielle has utilized her organizational skills in the role of public speaker, trainer, facilitator and project manager. She is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and includes human resources, strategic planning, technology implementations and staff development in her areas of expertise. Gabrielle currently works full-time at DuPont as an IT Project Manager for the legal department and oversees implementation of Customer Relationship Management systems for CodeMyDesigns.

April Holle is a Theme Developer for CodeMyDesigns.com. For over eight years April has been developing front-end solutions for the web. She specializes in cross-browser compliant w3c validated XHTML and CSS for Content Management Systems (CMS). She also has a keen eye for great web design, usability and search engine optimization. April is a member and former web director for Arizona AIGA (The Professional Association of Design) and instructor at Design Made Better where she teaches design for the web and front-end development practices.
