Drupal Developer

CodeMyDesigns.com is a growing startup specializing in open-source content management systems (CMS) for graphic designers. Our services help graphic designers design and sell feature-rich CMSs to their clients that we develop in-house. Designers simply design a website in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator and send the file to us.

We are currently seeking a freelance Drupal developer to join our small team on a project-to-project basis. As a developer for CodeMyDesigns.com, your primary job function involves preparing Drupal-powered websites for theming. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience in multiple programming languages including PHP, MySQL, Ajax, HTML/CSS and the Drupal framework. Drupal module writing and an excellent understand of views and CCK required.

Responsibilities

• Learn and utilize our methodologies to convert Photoshop and Illustrator files into Drupal content management systems (CMS)
• Create modules, views, content types and more as defined by the State of Work
• Using our development environment and tools, build a site from scratch and prepare the site for handoff to themer
• System troubleshooting

3+ years experience in the following technologies:

• Drupal: CCK/Views, Actions, Triggers, Panels, Ubercart
• PHP, MySQL, Ajax, HTML, CSS
• Photoshop/Illustrator experience
• Preferred: Server administration, including: LAMP, scripting, cPanel, Perl, Python, SVN

Requirements

• Bachelors or equivalent work experience
• Home office with laptop, phone and internet connection
• Goal-oriented with ability to work independently
